We get so excited when we find prepared foods that are FructMal friendly. My son and I were doing hi-fives in the isle...and Tootsie was all smiles. This is what we found:
Two cereals - Peanut Butter Panda Puffs & Gorilla Munch. The sugar content is pretty high for Tootsie so we'll have to try small amounts and limit it to a couple times a week to see how she does.
Udi's Snickerdoodle Cookies - again, high in sugar so we broke one in half and she said it tasted like Heaven!
...and Udi's Pizza Crusts
We ended up making the pizza for dinner tonight. We used a VERY thin spread of tomato paste and topped with monterey jack cheese. She loved it! Now we'll have to wait a couple days to see if she shows any symptoms. I hope not! We love ordering pizzas and having movie night a couple times a month - this would allow her to fully join in and not feel too different.
Don't you just love Udi's?!
ReplyDeleteIt's spendy, but worth it.
ReplyDeleteYes! I would be lost without their white sandwich bread :)
ReplyDeleteHow did Tootsie tolerate the pizza? Was it "plain" tomato paste you used?
She seemed to tolerate the pizza just fine. I used a spatula to spread the tomato paste ultra thin on the crust and we didn't have any issues. It was plain tomato paste (just tomatoes as the listed ingredient).
ReplyDeleteGood deal! Another dinner option :)
